Hi! I'm Ferran Barba, a Junior Developer currently studying a HND in Computing Videogames Programming at ESAT Valencia. I have 2 years of experience as a Full-Stack Programmer, focused mostly on Angular, .NET and JavaScript.
My goal and my dream is to join the Videogame Industry as a programmer and gain enough experience and knowledge to be able to work for one of my favourite game studios.
I describe myself as a strategic thinker, focused on analyze, learn and create. My experience working gave me self-solving skills and made me more resolutive when needed. I really enjoy programming and I hope to keep working with such a passion about what I do.
Career experience and education
Specialized in mid and low-level software architecture and high-performance game development. Core focus on C++ and memory management, including the development of custom game engines from scratch. Trained in 3D mathematics, physics implementation, and graphics programming. Experienced in working within multidisciplinary teams (programmers, artists, and designers) following professional production pipelines and agile methodologies.
Worked in the backend side of a mobile app destined to improve the management of transport to work. My task focused on refactoring the backend to implement a microservices architecture, dividing the endpoints depending of the function, while also improving them.
Lead the development of two applications of the Zero Defects Manufacturing Platform project, focused on the optimization of industrial machines. I added multiple features to both the frontend and the backend, also improving the current website and refactoring some of it.
Focused on multi-platform software development, specializing in Java and JavaScript for backend and Android/Web environments. Expertise in database management (SQL/NoSQL), UI/UX design principles, and full-stack integration. Trained in a highly practical environment, developing enterprise-level applications, mastering version control with Git, and implementing agile methodologies for efficient software delivery.
